Alinco DJ-S40 (DJ S 40 DJS40) transceiver: Japanese Version TX Expansion Mod

1. Remove battery pack
   
   
2. Remove four screws
   
   
3. Open the inside and look at main circuit board
   
   
4. Remove two tip resistors as follows
   
   R210 ( look for printed letters 'R210' on right bottom of board )
   R202 ( above the microphone, little bit right. this tip resistor is crosswise while other resistors above microphone are all lengthwise )
   
   
5. Assemble the radio as original
   
   
6. Reset the radio by turning it on while pressing FUNC and V/M at the same time.

You can transmit and receive from 400MHz to 469.99MHz
